Honoring Iowa’s Heroes in the War on Terrorism; Honoring Iowa’s Military Heroes Association, P.O. Box 325, Ames, Iowa 50010. Honoring Iowa’s Heroes in the War on terrorism is about honoring Iowa families and their loved one’s dedication and service to our country. Many people have been adversely affected by the War on Terrorism, especially those who have lost a loved one. Others include those who have been injured in the conflict and those who continue to fight for freedom and our security. As fellow Americans and Iowans they and their families deserve to know that Iowa cares.
Iowa Veterans Commemorative Medal; The funds raised with the State of Iowa Veterans Commemorative Medallion will be used to establish a State Veterans Cemetery. A State Veterans Cemetery would honor our veterans with a final resting place and a lasting memorial that commemorates their service to our state and nation.
